Scissor lift for Sainsbury’s
If you don’t find what you are looking for within our standard product range we can still help and will. We pulled out all the stops to provide Sainsbury’s with a scissor lift that was essential to the launch of their first ‘Fresh Kitchen’ coffee shop – a new concept for the supermarket giant. Jigsaw special for a unique building
Following a successful installation in Jigsaw’s Chapel on Kings Road premises, we were once again invited to quote for an exciting new Jigsaw project in The Old Post Office, Bath. It was a tricky site as the main trading floor is on the first floor above the original grand entrance to the Post Office that has a double sweeping ‘Cinderella’ style staircase. The feature lift to transport shoppers, including disabled people, needed to be installed in a central position whilst retaining the uniqueness of the premises. The 8 person Stannah MRC Maxilift MXL passenger lift is set in a steel structure clad in 12.8mm toughened glass.

Larger capacity goods only lifts when space is limited
When asked if we could find a way of installing a lift in a building with a particularly low ceiling height we were more than happy to seek out an alternative solution. When our standard Goodsmaster will not fit, due to limited space being available, we are able to source alternatives. We have now supplied a number of Goodsmaster CD lifts, mostly in existing buildings where space is tight, enabling us to install a lift without major structural work being undertaken.

Custom passenger lift for electrical giant
When electrical giant Currys planned the launch of their Currys/PC World megastores it was our in-house design team that they consulted for their unique in-store lifts. The customer lifts, essential for the stores with mezzanine retail levels, were required to echo the light and airy feel of their planned-for customer experience. After much discussion the concept of all-glass 13-person Stannah Maxilifts positioned within a wrap-around stairway was decided upon. A rapid procurement programme meant we were challenged with a very tight deadline to deliver the lifts for the roll out of the new electro-paradise.
