Meet the East Anglia Team
Keith Peters – Branch Manager
Keith joined Stannah in 1993 as an Apprentice Fitter in London’s Crayford Branch, for domestic products such as stairlifts. In 1998 he moved to Dartford as an Apprentice in passenger lift engineering to complete his knowledge of lifts on the commercial market. In 2001 Keith moved to work as part of a three-man sales team with a responsibility for West London and Surrey. His outstanding success in the sales role at Dartford won him promotion to his current position as Branch Manager in 2008.
Trevor Puttock – Field Repair Manager
Trevor has a team of three Stannah Engineers and also manages subcontracts when appropriate. He has been with Stannah since 1998 and in the lift industry since 1982. Trevor holds an NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (gained since being with Stannah), Unit 9 distance learning in Health & Safety and Unit 1 in lift technology, and is currently completing the NVQ Level 4 Testers course.
Tony Purton – Field Service Manager
After a career in the RAF and eight years with Express Lifts, Tony joined Stannah in 1985 as a Supervisor. He currently manages a team of nine Engineers and shares three Apprentices with the Repair Supervisor. He ensures all the industrial maintenance and call-outs are completed efficiently and to the clients’ satisfaction. During his early years in the lift industry, Tony gained J5 and J25 lift engineering qualifications. He also has an IOSH Managing Safely Certificate.
Ray Thompson – Field Service Manager
Ray joined Stannah on Valentine’s Day in 1983 and has been in his present role since 1998. With a team of six Engineers, Ray looks after the efficient and safe operation of hundreds of domestic lifts for both Local Authority and individual owners. In addition to maintenance, Stannah recycle lifts for Local Authorities, storing and reconditioning or replacing lifts.
Ray has his NVQ Level 3 in Management and an ISOH Managing Safely Certificate.
Dianne Sillis – Office Manager
Dianne joined Stannah as a Branch Administrator in June 2007 her main role was assisting the Sales/Repair team typing quotations and invoicing for Major repairs. Moving to Office Manager in April 2010 her main role now is ensuring that the Norwich branch offers the highest level of customer service to all of their customers. Dianne is currently studying for her NVQ Management Level 3.
Michael Leveridge – Technical Sales Engineer
Mike looks after all the major lift refurbishment enquires across the East Anglian region. He joined Stannah in 1983 as an apprentice engineer on completion of his training he became a service engineer, before specialising in major works.
So if you require advice on specialist lift works such as in the EN81-80 Regulations, installation of automatic door systems, or complete new lift installation in an existing lift shaft - Mike can help.
Leigh Carey - Technical Sales Advisor
Leigh has been with Stannah since 2002 and works within the minor repairs team. His role involves supplying quotations in response to recommendations made by our service engineers. Leigh is presently working through the LEIA long distance learning packages.
Dave Swift – Technical Sales Engineer
Dave joined Stannah in 1989 and currently looks after contractual minor sales - renewals and new tenders. Working alongside Mike Leveridge, the pair keep the branch very busy.
Mari Fielding – Administrator
Mari joined Stannah in 1994 and has since gained her NVQ Levels 2 & 3 in Business & Administration and Customer Service. Mari's is the friendly voice for individual Stairlift customers. This, plus her extensive knowledge, helps maintain the high level of service that our customers have come to expect. Her main duties include stairlift service contracts, activating installation warranties, and credit control queries.
Debbie Twite – Administrator
Debbie joined the administration team at Stannah in September 2008 and now works alongside Mari Fielding. She maintains Council and Housing Association contracts for stairlifts ensuring continued customer satisfaction. She also provides cover for Mari in her absence, and is always happy and willing to help customers and her colleagues. Debbie recently completed her NVQ in Customer Service Level 2.
Fiona Burt – Administrator
Fiona has worked for Stannah since October 1996 and deals with industrial contracts. She keeps an eagle eye on the lifts that are under guarantee and maintains contracts from individual sites through Councils, ensuring their smooth running and continued customer satisfaction. Fiona has completed her NVQ Customer Service Level 2 qualification. Her friendly demeanour means she has a great rapport with her customers and nothing is ever too much trouble.
Sue Stevens – Administrator
Sue joined Stannah in September 2008. Her main role is to assist the Sales Engineers in the preparation of quotations for repairs. Her daily duties include invoicing of repairs and dealing with customer queries and ensuring that the branch s customers receive the highest level of customer service. Sue enjoys working as a team player within the admin department and has completed her NVQ Customer Service Level 2.
Jack Owen – Branch Administrator
Jack joined Stannah in November 2010 and works alongside Fiona and Sue dealing with the Industrial contracts. Daily duties include dealing with customer queries, logging call-outs and general office duties. Other roles include assisting the engineers by ensuring our fleet of vehicles are always stocked and looking after our Network Rail sites.
