"Dear Sirs,

My mother and father who live near Sheffield both having severe mobility problems, owing to their advanced years - mum is 88 and dad is 99, therefore they rely totally on their Stannah stair lift. Mum was very distressed this morning to find their stairlift was not working correctly and had to send for your engineer.The engineer arrived within 30 minutes and was very concerned to get the lift working for them. He diagnosed that it was necessary to fit a new motor and had to go all the way to Mansfield to collect it. The weather conditions were appalling but he returned and carried out the repair so they will be able to sleep in their beds tonight.

Mum and Dad and all the family wish to thank your engineer Andy and Stannah for the kindness and consideration shown by Andy for both of them so they have asked me to send this letter of appreciation to Andy and all of you at Stannah.
