The Stannah Midilift Range
Our Midilift vertical platform lifts are ideal for improving access within new or existing buildings, helping you to meet all of the latest regulations and guidelines governing access to public buildings.
The Midilift range offers choice and flexibility at every level. Three platform sizes are available, and all models can accomodate entrances on up to three sides. All Midilifts are supplied with their own structure supported enclosure, which can be fitted with either steel or glass panels, or a combination of the two. Quick and easy to install, the Midilift requires a minimum of builders work, making it an extremely cost-effective access solution.
Midilift SL
The Midilift SL is a conventional platform lift that is supplied with its own structure supported enclosure. It has constant pressure controls and a maximum travel of 5m.
The Midilift SL has been updated to include enhanced aesthetics and a simpler installation process.
Midilift XLplus
The Midilift XLplus takes the Midilift to a new level by incorporating automatic controls and a partially enclosed cabin with a greater choice of finishes whilst giving the user a feeling of extra security when using the lift. It also includes our new traction drive system, offering a quiet, smooth ride and an increased maximum travel of 12m.
Midilift DL
The Stannah Midilift DL provides vertical travel up to 12m and is particularly well suited to external installations. The partially enclosed platform moves within its own structure supported enclosure.
All our Platform Lifts will help building owners/operators to meet the requirements of:
- The Disability Discrimination Act (DDA)
- Part M of the Building Regulations (England and Wales) and/or Section 4.2 of the Technical Handbook (Scotland), both of which cover the requirements that many new buildings must meet to ensure ease of access and use
- BS 8300:2009 Code of Practice covering the design of buildings and their approaches to meet the needs of disabled people
All Stannah Midilifts are built to comply with the Essential Safety Requirements of the Machinery Directive 98/37/EC, ISO 9386-1:2000 (covering power operated lifting platforms for persons with impaired mobility) and come with every safety feature you would expect from a Stannah product.
