The Stannah Stairiser Range

The Stannah Stairiser can provide public access for wheelchair users over straight or curved stairs in new or existing premises, ensuring your building says ‘welcome’ to all visitors. Internal and external models are available.

Stairiser platform stairlifts are designed for occasional use and are safe and simple to operate. The platform speed is designed to ensure users feel secure throughout their journey.

Stairiser SX

The Stairiser SX is designed to run on a straight rail over a single flight of stairs. The unit folds flat against the rail when not in use. It can be installed internally and externally for increased access provision.

Inclined Platform Lift
Stairiser CR

The Stairiser CR is designed for use on a curved rail, therefore suitable for any run of stairs with a single turn, multiple landings or spiral configuration. It can be installed internally and externally for increased access provision.

Stannah Stairisers are designed to give our customers maximum choice and flexibility. All our Platform Lifts will help building owners/operators to meet the requirements of:

  • The Disability Discrimination Act (DDA)
  • Part M of the Building Regulations (England and Wales) and Section 4.2 of the Technical Handbook (Scotland), both of which cover the requirements that many new buildings must meet to ensure ease of access and use
  • BS 8300:2009 Code of Practice covering the design of buildings and their approaches to meet the needs of disabled people

All Stannah Stairisers are built to comply with the Essential Requirements of the Machinery Directive 98/37/EC and ISO 9386-2:2000 (covering powered stairlifts for seated or wheelchair users, moving in an inclined plane) and come with every safety feature you would exoect from a Stannah product.
