Tim Collins – Branch Manager
Tim started with Stannah in 1988 as a Senior Engineer, bringing with him a wealth of experience in all aspects of lift engineering, manufacturing, installing and servicing. Promoted to Charge Hand in 1989, Tim progressed to Christchurch Branch Supervisor in 1991 then carrying out the Sales Engineer’s role before becoming Branch Manager.
His experience in supervising, maintenance, repairs, call-outs and installation of both stairlifts and lifts is invaluable in his role as Branch Manager. Tim is also a qualified Lift Tester.
Tim manages a dedicated team who strive to exceed their customers’ expectations when looking after their lifts.
Vicky Marshall – Office Manager
Vicky joined Stannah in 2004 as a Branch Administrator where her main duties included taking call-outs and dispatching jobs to engineers. In September 2007, she took over as Administration Supervisor where she now looks after a small team of people.
Vicky lives locally with her husband, Kevin, who also works for Stannah as a Service Engineer and, in her spare time, she enjoys eating out and spending time with her husband and their cat Dylan.
Colin Jeppesen – Field Repair Manager
Colin joined Stannah Lift Services in 1997 as a Stairlift Service Engineer based at the then Christchurch Branch, having previously worked in the electrical and security industry. Colin later progressed to become a Lift Engineer before becoming the Christchurch Branch Repair Supervisor in 2004. He looks after a team of six engineers carrying out all types of minor and major repairs. Colin got married to Tina in December 2008.
Tony Kirby – Field Service Manager
Tony started with Stannah in May 1989. His role back then was to assemble the stairlift carriages and test them ready for packaging. Six months later he followed the packaged boxes and moved over to the stairlift installations department as an Installer. He spent ten happy years doing this job and he clearly loved every bit of it! In 1999, he made a move over to Microlifts for a year as a Fitter. 2000 was the year he joined the Christchurch Service Branch as a Stairlift Installer, Service and Repair Engineer. In 2002, Tony became the Branch Installation Supervisor.
In 2003, Tony started his present role of Engineering Supervisor for stairlift servicing. Tony has a team of six engineers totally committed to engineering excellence. Tony loves his current role but still keeps his hand in working on his beloved stairlifts; once an engineer always an engineer!! Tony lives in Andover with his wife Candy (who works in the training department at Stannah) and his two daughters, Courtney Jade and Kiera Mai.
James Berrill – Field Service Manager
James started with Stannah Lifts in March 2007 as an Engineering Supervisor. He joined the industry in February 2001 after being introduced to lifts whilst working in the cruise ship industry as an Electro-technical Officer. Since this change, he has gained a great deal of experience working as a Service/ Call out Engineer and an Installation Supervisor and Tester for other national companies.
The chance to join Stannah as an Engineering Supervisor was an opportunity not to miss and he relishes the challenges in his role.
James manages an expanding team of Engineers all working to maintain the Branch’s portfolio, addressing the needs of our customers throughout the southern region.
He currently lives in Winchester and has a passion for sports, dancing and travel.
Will Greene – Technical Sales Engineer
Having been in the engineering industry since 1986, Will joined the lift industry in 2000 working as a Contractor, and trained to become a Lift Engineer completing NVQ Level 3 in Lift Installation and Modernisation. In 2006, Will joined the team at Christchurch as a Repair Engineer where he was part of a team that installed three new twenty-person passenger lifts for Network Rail at Horsham Railway Station that year.
In January 2007, the opportunity arose to take over the Technical Sales role at Christchurch. Will is now involved in advising customers on everything from minor lift repairs to major refurbishment and modernisation projects.
