At Stannah Lift Services in Brackley we offer a complete maintenance, breakdown and repair service, based around a range of 3 maintenance contracts designed to suit your every need and budget. All our contracts include regular preventative maintenance visits, where our engineers will inspect, clean, lubricate and adjust all lift components. Our emergency breakdown service offers peace of mind through the knowledge that Stannah are available 24 hours a day to put your lift, escalator or moving walkway back into service.
Large refurbishment projects are also part of our portfolio – the most recent project being lift upgrades at the Newbury Racecourse, to meet DDA requirements and EN81-80.

As part of a nationwide 24/7 service, we manage the safe and efficient operation of lifts, escalators and moving walkways in our central region; from the M4 in the South to The Wash in the East. Our comprehensive service covers the main centres of Milton Keynes, Luton, Slough, Stevenage and Reading.
We operate service, maintenance and repair contracts for all types of lift, including passenger lifts, platform lifts and goods lifts. Our services also include escalators and moving walkways, lift refurbishment and modernisations and stairlift installations.

At Brackley we look after 5000 units. These include goods, passenger, access stairlifts, step lifts and domestic hoists.

Gary Knight – Branch Manager
Gary joined Stannah Lift Services in 1980 and has been working in the lift industry since 1974. He is the longest-serving Branch Manager within Stannah. His career with Stannah began in the Bristol Branch as a Technical Sales Engineer, from where he moved to the Nottingham Branch before progressing to be Brackley Branch Manager. With a staff of thirty-eight, Gary also holds the responsibility for both Quality Assurance and Safety at Brackley.
Alan Burvill – Field Service Manager and the team
Alan (centre) joined Stannah in 1991 and is currently responsible for a team of Engineers, all engaged in product maintenance and call-outs on every type of lift. As part of Stannah’s national contract across the UK, Alan also oversees the Network Rail lift maintenance contract of sixty-four lifts in twenty-one different stations within the Brackley Branch area. Alan is married with two children.

Andy Kendrick – Field Service Manager and the team
Andy (centre) joined Stannah in 1995 as a member of the Crayford Branch. After a few years he moved to the Brackley Branch and progressed to Supervisor. He is currently responsible for a team of Engineers engaged in call-outs and maintenance. Andy is a keen golfer with a handicap of six although this is expected to rise following his recent marriage to his wife, Debbie.

Richard Cleal – Technical Sales Engineer and his team
Richard (centre) started with the Stannah Group of Companies in 1988. He first worked at Stannah Microlifts, the goods-only division of Stannah. He then worked as a Sales Engineer for Stannah Lifts Ltd selling passenger lifts. In September 2001 he joined the Service Division as part of the South Midlands & Home Counties Team and is responsible for bringing in new refurbishment and modernisation projects. Richard, a member of MENSA, is a photographer and film buff.

Elaine Rose – Administration Supervisor and the team
Elaine (centre) started with the Stannah Group of Companies in 1999. She first worked at Head Office as part of the Network Rail Department and, after a year’s break, she rejoined the Brackley Branch in April 2006 as Branch Administration Supervisor. She is married with two grown-up children.
