Standard Service Contracts

Ensuring your lift equipment has a maintenance plan you can rely on

Standard Service Contracts

Having a schedule of servicing in place is part of your responsibility as an owner/operator of a lift, escalator or moving walkway. All our contracts include regular maintenance visits, during which our engineers will inspect, clean, lubricate and adjust all appropriate components for optimum performance. When on site, our engineers complete an electronic report outlining the work carried out, in addition to identifying any weak or faulty components.

We offer 3 levels of service contract: Standard, Premium and Comprehensive:

STANDARD

  • Regular servicing at specified intervals
  • Condition report on each service visit
  • Preventative maintenance

PREMIUM

  • Regular servicing at specified intervals
  • Condition report on each service visit
  • Preventative maintenance
  • Normal working hours emergency breakdown cover
  • Supplementary testing of in-service products (optional extra)

COMPREHENSIVE

  • Regular servicing at specified intervals
  • Condition report on each service visit
  • Preventative maintenance
  • Normal working hours emergency breakdown cover
  • Repairs
  • 24-hour/weekend emergency breakdown cover (optional extra)

Local Authority Bulk Service Contracts

We have multiple Local Authority maintenance contracts across the UK, each one managed locally by one of eleven service branches covering the whole of the UK. Each contract is negotiated through a competitive tendering process and contracts won confirm that our exacting standards have met with client approval. We are proud of our long association with major authorities and continue to develop bespoke services to suit their needs.

For example:

London Borough of Redbridge

The London and South East Branch of Stannah at Orpington won the tender to provide lift services for the London Borough of Redbridge. The initial contract started on 1 July 1988 and has been renewed each year. This is an indication of the Council’s satisfaction with the service provided. Stannah looks after over 200 lifts across the Borough in almost as many locations. Products include through the floor lifts, step lifts, wheelchair platform lifts and stairlifts from a range of manufacturers. A service to remove and re-site Stannah stairlifts is included in the contract. The contract is ‘basic’ providing regular service and preventative maintenance at specific intervals. The engineer provides a report on the condition of the lift following each visit. An agreed 4-hour guaranteed response time to anywhere in the county is also an integral part of the contract.
