The Stannah Southern England service branch consists of a friendly team of lift professionals, geared towards delivering expert lift maintenance, repair and quality customer service. From our Hampshire base, we look after thousands of lifts from the Isle of Wight to the M3 corridor.

Servicing & repair for ALL types of lifts from ALL manufacturers

We're part of a British family run business with over 150 years of lift expertise, that's also well known for stairlifts. We know how important a working lift or stair lift is. So that’s why we provide a fast, reliable and high-quality servicing & repair - for ALL types of lifts from ALL manufacturers. We offer a stairlift repair and call-out service, providing stairlift servicing for both Stannah models and those from other manufacturers. Just like the rest of our business, our Ringwood branch prides itself on thorough service visits as part of any service contract, helping to prevent costly repair bills.

Stairlift & lift maintenance contracts

We offer a range of standard maintenance contracts, designed to suit every need and budget, along with custom options. But we don’t only help contract customers! If you don’t have a service agreement, don’t worry our experienced lift engineers can still help and with our emergency breakdown cover, we will put your lifting device back into service as quickly as possible.

Lift refurbishment, lift modernisation & turn-key lift installation

We also get involved in lift refurbishment, lift modernisation and turn-key lift installation, regularly working with clients, consultants, architects and contractors. Always ensuring we deliver excellent customer service. This includes most of the Network Rail station lifts in our region, with latest major projects including the refurbishment of multiple lifts for Bournemouth Council over a six-year period, across their housing stocks and lift modernisations for Tesco and Sainsbury’s in our area.

Looking after thousands of stairlifts, lifts, escalators and moving walkways, our Ringwood office is available 24 hours, 365 days a year, with a network of highly-trained local engineers covering the South of England.

Our promise to every one of our customers is that we will be ‘always true to our word’. Simply call our team and we will do all we can to help.

What our customers say

“Our Stannah goods lifts should get a medal for over 30 years each of shifting equipment between two floors. The stock is high value, too, and needs careful handling, so secure transit is essential – all delivered by our Trolleylift and Loadmaster. Thank you, Stannah, Naim Audio looks forward to many more years of reliable service!”

Facilities Manager, NAIM Audio

"We had rock-solid reasons to specify a Stannah platform lift: Our beloved stairlift had delivered long, reliable service—thanks to Stannah’s outstanding customer care. Critically, Stannah was the only company that could deliver a bespoke solution. We also favour working with local companies and are reassured by Stannah’s lengthy pedigree in opening up heritage buildings to people of all mobilities."

Lift owner (and previous Stairlift owner), Whitchurch Silk Mill

"Since opening in March 2008, this store sees an average footfall of about 42,000 customers a week. All five Stannah walkways are taking the strain and performing admirably, especially the three walkways that see the heaviest traffic from the ground to first-floor retail levels."

General Store Manager, ASDA

"I would just like to pass on my appreciation to the engineer. I had an issue with the lift yesterday morning to which your engineer attended within 2 hours of being called out."

Scheme Manager, Grange Property Managent

"I phoned Stannah, the person on the phone was very helpful would send somebody as soon as possible. Afternoon, an engineer turned up, a very nice man and soon sorted the problem out, I am very impressed at the service I received."

Mr W, Stairlift customer
