Stannah in East Anglia

A warm welcome from Branch Manager, Jason Peters. Thank you for visiting our branch pages. As part of a nationwide 24/7 service, we are dedicated to the safe and efficient operation of lifts, escalators and moving walkways right across East Anglia, from our offices in Norwich. Our team are here to answer your calls and our highly-trained engineers are out and about in the region – never far away.

More about our services in the East Anglia region

Our comprehensive service covers the main centres of Norwich, Ipswich and Cambridge – and everywhere in between.

24/7, 365 days a year. Our emergency breakdown cover will put your lift, escalator or moving walkway back into service.

Not just Stannah!

We look after all types of lifts from ALL manufacturers . Our engineers also refurbish and modernise current equipment and supply and install new lift products of all types for special projects.

In East Anglia we look after hundreds of lifts from the depths of Cambridgeshire to the wonderful Norfolk and Suffolk coasts. This includes most of the Network Rail station lifts in our region. Latest major lift refurbishment projects include the complete modernisation of 6 bedlifts at Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge, goods lifts at the University of East Anglia and a passenger lift refurbishment at Ipswich Library.

Service contracts

We offer a complete maintenance, breakdown and repair service, based around a range of 3 maintenance contracts designed to suit your every need and budget. Not just contract customers! If you do not have a service contract for your lift or stairlift we can still help. Simply call us on 01603 748021 and we will do all we can to help.

Our customers

Every one of our customers is our priority. From our stairlift customers right through to our major projects customers we provide responsible, professional, but friendly lift services to keep lift stock moving efficiently and safely in our region. We look after lifts in hospitals, schools, universities, railway stations, hotels, shops, restaurants, pubs and clubs, ships (yes, our lifts are on the ss Great Britain), museums, offices, cinemas, leisure centres, public buildings and, of course, in many private homes.

Our ethos

People, apprenticeships, community.

Stannah puts people at the top of its agenda. This is reflected in everything we do with our customers, suppliers and our own staff. People development is high on the priority list and, in return, we receive great dedication and loyalty from our employees. In Norwich our team is full of local knowledge and many of us have lived and worked in the area for many years.

Giving young people an opportunity is also a high priority so each year the company takes on a number of apprentices. We have 64 engineering apprentices across the whole Stannah service network.

We support the communities in which our staff live and work by getting involved in local causes and releasing our staff to volunteer. Projects are nominated by our staff so we can help wherever possible.

Stannah has been endorsed as a ‘Which? Trusted trader’ following an assessment and inspection of its stairlift installation business. The accolade reflects Stannah’s commitment to dependable, first-rate customer service.
