Test Valley Borough Council partners with Stannah Lifts to enhance passenger safety and lift reliability
Stannah Lifts, a leader in the UK lift sector, is proud to announce a new partnership with Test Valley Borough Council to deliver comprehensive lift maintenance services across the council’s full property portfolio, covering 6 sites.
The council selected Stannah Lifts based on its extensive engineer coverage across the region and a proven track record for rapid and reliable call-outs.
With key public buildings such as Chantry centre and public car parks, 24/7 support was also essential and a key factor in the council’s decision. Under the new partnership, Stannah Lifts will maintain a mix of passenger, platform and goods lifts from multiple manufacturers such as Otis, Elevate UK and Temple. They will also implement full preventative maintenance programmes to reduce breakdowns, improve safety and extend equipment lifespan.
Leader of Test Valley Borough Council, Councillor Phil North, explains: "We’re delighted to be working with Stannah Lifts to ensure our lifts operate efficiently. This new partnership with a renowned local firm means we will be in a good position to identify problems before they arise and respond much more quickly when there are any issues. This will help us to provide the best service and ensure issue-free access to our buildings.”
Jason Adams, Southern England Branch Manager at Stannah, says: "We are delighted to support Test Valley Borough Council with a tailored maintenance solution that improves reliability and safety across their sites. With a strong company presence in the Test Valley and Andover area, we are proud to bring local expertise and exceptional service to this partnership."
This new partnership is one of many public sector collaborations managed by Stannah Lifts, supporting local authorities nationwide with reliable lift and stairlift services, including maintenance and repair.
Stannah Lifts' commitment to responsive service, customer care and engineering excellence ensures that councils and the communities they serve can rely on fully operational, safe and efficient lift systems at all times.
