Stannah London & South East service branch - your local lift company

The Stannah London & South East service branch has a broad range of experience in maintenance, repair and refurbishment of passenger lifts, good lifts, escalators and moving walkways. We’re a local lift company, filled with lift experts, plus with our network of highly-trained lift engineers, help is never far away.

Servicing & repair for ALL types of lifts from ALL manufacturers
We know how important a working lift is. We pride ourselves on thorough service visits as part of any service contract, ensuring every part is checked over and helping to prevent costly lift repair bills. Plus with our emergency breakdown cover we will put your lift, escalator or moving walkway back into service as quickly as possible.

Whilst we’ve over 150 years of lift experience we’re also well known for stairlifts. Our sister-branch in Orpington offers a repair and call-out service for stairlifts, homelifts and service lifts, providing servicing for both Stannah models and those from other manufacturers.

Lift maintenance contracts
We offer 3 standard maintenance contracts, designed to suit every need and budget, along with custom service contracts. But we don’t only help contract customers! If you don’t have a service agreement, that’s not a problem, our experienced lift engineers can still help.

Lift refurbishment, lift modernisation & turn-key lift installation
We get involved in lift refurbishment, lift modernisation and turn-key lift installation. We regularly work with clients, consultants, architects and contractors. Ensuring we deliver excellent customer service to all. Some of our major lift refurbishment projects include the London Hippodrome, Kings Cross Station, Paddington Station and London Bridge.

We're part of an independent British family business that prides itself on providing local lift maintenance, breakdown and repair services, delivering that personal touch and being 'always true to our word'.

In Dartford we look after thousands of lifts, including most of the Network Rail station lifts in our region, the whole Docklands Light Railway Network and the Emirates Skyline to and from the O2. We’re available 24 hours, 365 days a year. Simply call us and we will do all we can to help.

What our customers say

"Our lift was installed when the three mansions came together to form St Ives Lodge. Its performance certainly belies it years and it plays a vital role in helping residents and staff alike go about their daily manoeuvres. Stannah certainly builds lifts to last!"

Manager, St Ives Lodge

“This was a fast-track project completed on budget and to a tight deadline, and to our client’s total satisfaction. We use Stannah lift products on a consistent basis because they are reliable in their manufacture and installation, often going the extra mile, as this project shows. We have an excellent working relationship with Stannah and will happily specify their lift products for future projects.”

Project Manager, Osborne for Clapham Junction

"I hope the public will be wowed by the scale and finish of the station, but it is unlikely they will appreciate the tremendous effort that you have all put in to get the project to this point. The amount of work achieved every shift on this complex project has been truly staggering."
